Wildways Therapy
a Community Interest Company
Since launching in April 2015, Wildways Therapy has always operated as a social enterprise and non-profit.
The year-round overheads for the nature-based/equine settings, at various sites around East and West Sussex over the past 11 years, have always been self-funded by Wildways Therapy.
To protect, sustain and now grow - we have stepped into new opportunities as a registered
Community Interest Company.
This means we can apply for funding and further support from other charitable organisations and strategic partners,
with our well tested and evidenced services.
Being able to support parents and carers who are struggling with their mental health due to the care needs of their families is our absolute passion and driving force. Whether it is SEND, Trauma, Adoption, Care-Experience... we know, that without the parent/carers doing what they do 24/7/365, the family may experience extreme crisis. And yet the life and health outcomes for parents/carers,
where there are high needs in their family, are poorly understood or supported.
In whatever way we can, Wildways Therapy CIC is here to gently, sustainably and indefatigably hold a safe,
restorative and trauma specialist space for parents and carers, adoptive, kinship and foster parents.
Our thanks goes to our fantastic sanctuary site owner, for their support and belief in what we do, granting us a secure and long term lease, whilst also providing additional support in funding some important infrastructure maintenance and development at the site. After over a decade of sheer determination and grit fuelling many moves and changes, it is a dream come true to have security and such peace of mind.
At last, we can grow.
To celebrate this new launch, what better way to support us and the parents and carers so in need of our services, than this special fundraiser!
All donations will support 1:1 integrative psychotherapy, trauma therapy and adoption support counselling sessions and small, safe group workshops, both online (to support access) and in-person at our beautiful sanctuary site in East Sussex.
Ameliorating the effects of parent/carers' chronic exposure to stress, burnout and trauma
is foundational to the welfare of the entire family and yet they are often the last place that support embeds.
Let's change that!
Please share from the link below and/or if you are able to donate even £1, please be assured that your donation
will be put to the best use to deliver and develop our specialist services.
Thank you.
